This is another important question I get asked a lot, which is why I’m going to be covering it in more detail during my free call on March 17.

In the meantime, let’s get you started with a quick tip.

Early in your talk, promise your audience you’re going to share as much as you possibly can in the time you have. You’re going to give them real information and content they can take home and start implementing in their business or life right away. But, because your time is limited, you won’t be able to share all your tips and strategies, so you’ll give as much as you can now and also promise to share a way for them to get more!

Then, at the end of your talk, present your offer as you promised. It’s as simple as that – you’re fulfilling a promise, you’re not selling or closing.

By doing this, you’re actually building trust with your audience because you’re showing you fulfill your promises. You’re also being very real and authentic by being open and transparent with your talk. People REALLY appreciate that!

    Love this tip. I was in the National Forensic League in High school which taught me to speak confidently( great life skills) but like so many things in school they don`t teach you how to MONETIZE the skill. Thanks for doing that, it is so important.

  16. Thanks for putting the obvious into words. Telling them what you’re going to do, recognizing you can’t do everything, then keeping your word builds trust and credibility. Transparency makes people comfortable listening to you because they know they won’t be taken for a ride.
